Project Summary
This purpose built student accommodation, included the refurbishment of a small public house, generated 133 brand new luxury studios. Located over 5 floors, a BS9251:2021 Category 3 sprinkler system, protecting all studios, laundry room, reception and plantroom. With a connection from the mechanical boosted cold water supply due to restricted plant space, a prority demand valve was installed to ensure the sprinklers have the required water storage at all times. Seamless integration in to the Fire Alarm system with our partnership with VOCA Fire Protection, another completed project with no additional issues of communication between the two specialised systems.
