Project Summary
Initially a 3 storey care home, the property was closed and sold to private investors. With the addition of a level 3 to extend the number of bedrooms, a residential sprinkler system was then required to meet building regulations. A category 2 sprinkler system, to the four storey, 66 en suite bed student accommodation, was design and installed by our team, connecting from the boosted cold water system in the basement plantroom. Full hydraulic calculations were undertaken to provide the mechanical engineer with the correct figures to install the potable water storage tank.
